Time flies when you're bored out of your fucking gourd :v

Touhou

Well, I guess if im gonna bother with this, I shall talk about something I love~

The Touhou Series, is a series of... 11 games I think it is now.
For the most part they are curtain shooters, vertically scrolling shmups, involving shrinemaidens and the like ^.^
there are a couple of exceptions to this, the very first game (th01) is some kinda strange breakout type game, where you shoot a ball rather then just batting it.

th07.5 Immaterial and Missing Power is a superb 2D fighter, that has a heavy slant towards projectiles, and th09.5 ~Shoot the Bullet~ is much more akin to the usual touhou games, in that it is in effect a curtain fire game, but rather then shooting, you face a series of boss fights in which you must take photographs of the enemy bullet patterns, gaining bonus for the danger your in and such.

I guess I should mention that they are, with the exception of Immaterial and Missing Power, made entirely by ZUN.
